Derrick J. Dunkerton, age 49, was born March 30, 1966 in Berwyn, Illinois, to David J. &Rosemary Peck Dunkerton. Derrick passed away January 1, 2016 at his residence in Pottsboro. He was owner and operator Of North Texas Golf Carts. He was married to Layla Abdellatif in Oct. 1988 and then to Amy Atkins in June of 1997.He is survived by his parents, David & Rosemary Dunkerton of Pottsboro, son Clayton Dunkerton of Pottsboro, two daughters Nadia of Dallas, Haley of Pottsboro, brother, John R. of Pottsboro, four sisters, Danielle and Heidi, both of Georgetown, Texas, Heather of Sherman, and Kristen of Denison.
