Edwinna Aday, 90 year old resident of Denison, died Friday, April 24, 2015 at The Terrace of Denison.
The funeral home will be open until 6 p.m. Monday for friends wishing to come by.
Graveside services are 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 28, 2015 at Chapel on the Hill Mausoleum at Cedarlawn Memorial Park with The Reverend Allen W. Snider officiating.
Edwinna was born in Denison, Texas the daughter of John and Della Woodley Taylor, on August 22, 1924.
She graduated from Denison High School and married Allen V. Aday on April 11, 1943 in Denison. He preceded her in death on February 10, 2006. Edwinna was a homemaker and Past Worthy Matron of Gate City Chapter #77 Order of the Eastern Star. She was of the Methodist faith.
She is survived by her sons, Michael Lee Aday and his wife, Doris of Mesquite, John Robert Aday and his wife, Cathy of Denison and Terry Lynn Aday and his wife, Shelley of Bedford; grandchildren, Brian Aday, Chris Aday, Sean Aday and Lisa Aday and great-grandchildren, Ella and Amelia Aday.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Allen and brother, Fred Scoggins.
Arrangements are under the direction of Johnson-Moore Funeral Home.
