We had the honor and the pleasure of her gracing our lives. So many fond and cherished memories of her beautiful, giving, and contagious spirit which was always welcoming others into her life. She touched my heart and so many of those around her with her love and devotion of God, family and friends that this truly saddens me of her untimely departure. Heaven has indeed gained another angel. I can still hear her laugh and see her beautiful smile. She will be sorely missed and it just breaks my heart that she is gone. My deepest sympathies ~ Marjorie Brown

Mike and I want you to know that you are all in our thoughts and prayers. We were remembering our days at Grayson College when we became friends with a lovely young woman. May you find comfort knowing that this was a life well-lived. Deepest sympathies, Sharon and Mike Laney

We are so sorry for your loss. Because of Cindy’s loving care in tutoring our grandson, Noah, four years ago, he is now an A-B student, who plays football and basketball at Van Alstyne Middle School. She helped him believe in himself by teaching him in her dining room in the afternoon, after she had already taught a full day. She showed him that he could read. He was not dumb, as he thought. He had dyslexia. She will be forever in our hearts….What a special woman! Dwain and Linda Roberts

Several years ago in a conversation Brick James shared that a family (mother and son) had visited that Sunday and had thanked him for all that the church had done for their daughter / sister who had died from I remember to be a brain tumor. Brick found out her name during the conversation, but didn’t know what the church had done. She was one of Cindy’s friends that she was helping. Serving without anybody knowing. That was Cindy. Love you guys and call if we can do anything. Dale & Carol Hix

    says:

Dear Aaron, Adam and Taylor, I am just finding out about the passing of Cindy. I am so saddened to learn of this tragic event. It is heartbreaking to find out of her struggle with cancer and the loss of her life. She was such a special friend to my family when we lived in Pottsboro, and I loved getting to know her as a parent of one of my precious students, Adam. She was so supportive of me and loved my children and was so kind. I, too, have had a struggle with the terrible disease of cancer. I know how hard it was for you to watch her go through the fight, the treatment and the painful death, but you will see her again in Glory and until then remember the happy memories and the love she gave all of you. I will keep your sweet family in my prayers. Sending love from all of the Martins… Carol, Mark, Jarrod and Jordan Martin 8880 CR 132 Celina, TX 75009
