Jerry Ray Smith

November 8, 1952 - January 25, 2022

Jerry Ray Smith, a loving husband, brother and uncle. Passed away on January 25th,2022 at the age of 69. The son of the late Carl & Ruth (Bullock) Smith. He had retired from Scott Davidson Realtors, Tom Thumb & EZ Mart. His love of music, Texas Frightmare, live concerts, his collection of memorabilia and love for animals, including many cats, were Jerry’s passion. Jerry is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Betty of the home; sister, Mary Anne Grace and her husband, Edwin of Denison, TX; nieces and nephews: Alicia Elliott of Arlington TX, Terri Anne Price, Crystal Turner, Eddie Grace, Carl Grace and numerous great nieces and nephews. Family visitation will be from 12:00-1:00 p.m., 1 hour prior to the funeral service, Tuesday, February 1, 2022 at Johnson-Moore Funeral Home in Denison. Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 1, 2022 at Johnson-Moore Funeral Home with Brother Jerry Coffman officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery. Serving as his pallbearers will be: Jeff Price, Jordan Price. Eddie Grace, Carl Grace, Dusty Dosier and David Turner. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the SPCA of Texas, 8411 Stacy Rd./ FM720, McKinney, TX 75070 or your favorite charity. Arrangements are under the direction of Johnson-Moore Funeral Home. Condolences may be registered to: www.johnsonmoorefuneralhome.net.
