Roy Clifton Daugherty II

August 15, 1943 - December 28, 2021

Roy C. Daugherty II, 78, of Pottsboro, Texas, died peacefully Tuesday, December 28, 2021 at home with his family. Roy was born in Greenville, TX on August 15, 1943 and served in the United States Air Force from 11 May, 1961 to 10 May, 1967. He retired from Nabisco Foods. Roy is preceded in death by his parents, Clifton Roy and Frances (Hulsey) Daugherty, Sr; wife, Janene and daughters, Donna Hughes and Deborah Ann Daugherty. He is survived by his sons; Roy Daugherty, III and his wife, Mary of Florida and David Daugherty and his wife, Connie of Pottsboro; 8 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Memorial services will be at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, January 15, 2022 at the Johnson-Moore Pottsboro Chapel with Brother Pete Terrell officiating. The family would like to express their appreciation to Heart 2 Heart Hospice for all their kindness. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in Mr. Daugherty's name to the Wounded Warrior Project https://www.woundedwarriorproject.org/. Arrangements are under the direction of Johnson-Moore Funeral Home.
