Ruby Hellbush Crisp

April 25, 1928 - March 27, 2021

Denison, Texas Ruby Hellbush Crisp, 92, passed away on Sunday, March 27, 2021 in Dallas. Ruby was born in Colbert, Oklahoma on April 25, 1928, the daughter of Ed F. Hellbush and Lillian Martin Hellbush. She and J.D. Crisp were married on March 9, 1948 in Denison. He preceded her in death in 1961. She was a member of Belmont Baptist Church and a nurse technician in the surgery unit of Texoma Medical Center for 16 years. She is survived by her sons, Ronnie Crisp residing in Japan and Gary Crisp of Denison; brother, David Hellbush of Porterville, California; eighteen grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, J.D.; daughter, Edwina Crisp; brothers, Delbert Martin, Roy Martin and Herbert Martin and sisters, Opal Bachaus and Shirley Brown. Graveside services were held on Monday, April 5, 2021 in Garden of Memory, Colbert, Oklahoma with Reverend Jody Shires officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Johnson-Moore Funeral Home.
