Jayne DeFratus, 80, of Pottsboro, died Friday, February 26, 2016 at Texoma Medical Center in Denison.
Graveside services will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, February 29, 2016 at Holloway Cemetery in Luella, Texas.
Brother Bob Sholl, Brother Gregg Knight and Brother Kevin Shimp will officiate.
Jayne was born on July 6, 1935 in Bells, Texas, the daughter of Lionel Troy and Ida Arsula Wiggins Pruitt.
She was educated in Bells and Calera Schools. She and David Carroll DeFratus were married on May 12, 1962 at the Walnut Street Church of Christ in Sherman. She was an administrative assistant to Judge Newman at the Grayson County Courthouse and a member of the Pottsboro Church of Christ.
Jayne is survived by her husband of 53 years, David Carroll DeFratus; daughter, Karen Elayne Dotson of Princeton, Texas and sister, Vivian Menard of Lewisville, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her son, David Mark DeFratus on September 14, 1989.
Arrangements are under the direction of Johnson-Moore Funeral Home.
